High Density

High Density Foam Insulation

Foam insulation is used below concrete slabs to decrease heat loss through floors. This type of insulation is installed before the concrete slab is poured. Prefabricated foam boards are the insulation most commonly used beneath concrete slabs. High-density foam boards are rated based on their insulating capacity and their ability to resist damage from crushing, freezing and moisture.

Installing high-density foam insulation beneath concrete floors keeps them warmer than they would be without the insulation during winter and decreases energy loss through the floors. If a radiant heating system is built into a floor, then installing insulation beneath the floor will improve the radiant heating system’s performance. Foam insulation installed beneath a concrete slab does not require fireproofing or protection from termites and other burrowing insects.

EPS Polyshield

Polyshield Heat Laminated Sheathing

Polyshield heat laminated sheathing, offers tough poly facers for added strength and durability-important in storing, handling and installation. POLY SHIELD’s closed cell EPS core wraps the structure in permanent R-value, retarding radiant heat flow and reducing air-infiltration. POLY SHIELD offers both high efficiency and low cost insulation.

POLY SHIELD is made of Cellofoam Expanded Polystyrene (EPS) rigid insulation, faced with a tough poly laminate or a reflective foil facer. If a reflective surface is not desired, poly laminate can be ordered on both sides. Standard thicknesses are 1/2″, 3/4″ and 1″. Standard density is 1#. Other densities are up to 3# pcf and thickness up to 4″ are also available.

Geofoam

EPS Multifunctional Geofoam Insulation

EPS geofoam is inherently multi-functional, which makes it effective to use in a wide variety of applications. It offers special advantages for construction on soft ground, slope stabilization and retaining walls.

EPS geofoam has been used in road and airfield pavements and railway track systems, beneath refrigerated storage buildings, sports arenas and storage tanks to prevent ground freezing and heaving and in below-ground building segments to reduce seasonal heating and cooling requirements.

EPS geofoam enables engineers, architects, and builders to design for key geosynthetic functions and select the best combination of products to achieve project goals. With unprecedented strength and flexibility, EPS geofoam also offers innovative solutions to a range of problems, including protection from earthquake shock and noise and vibration dampening.

RBI

Reflective Bubble Insulation

RBI is a single or double layer of polyethylene bubbles bonded to and sandwiched between a radiant barrier metalized foil and white polyethylene sheet. RBI is specifically designed to control heat gain or loss, and prevent interior condensation, in all types of metal and metal-clad buildings.

Ceiling Panels

Cellofoam FoamGrid Insulating Ceiling Tiles

FoamGrid® is molded from expandable polystyrene resin beads. Because of its’ dimensional stability and unusual insulating properties, CELLOFOAM® FoamGrid® is an excellent product for use in ceiling applications. The material is easily installed using a standard grid system, and the fact that it can be worked with standard wood working tools makes it especially easy for the do-it-yourself person.

CELLOFOAM® FoamGrid® is odorless, chemically inert, has no food value and will not support plant or animal life. With its closed cell structure, FoamGrid will not warp or sag and has resistance to moisture.

CELLOFOAM® FoamGrid® can modernize any ceiling by hiding the cracked or stained plaster. FoamGrid covers up unsightly ducts, pipes and wiring, yet still gives instant accessibility. In addition to beauty and convenience, you’ll enjoy additional insulating and acoustical properties that make an area quieter and more comfortable.
